CFUW concerned over government rejection of UPR recommendations

CFUW has written to the Minister of Foreign Affairs to express concern over the Government of Canada’s rejection of many important recommendations made during the Universal Periodic Review (UPR) process, including the specific recommendations that Canada undertake a public inquiry into missing and murdered Aboriginal women and girls, and develop a national action plan to address gender-based violence.
