Every donation to education matters!

Graduate Women International (GWI) is a leading organization that advocates for the empowerment of girls and women through lifelong access to quality education and training, up to the highest levels. GWI provides numerous opportunities for individuals to support our mission of promoting access to education for girls and women. If you would like to contribute, we offer a variety of programs and donation options to choose from. Your donation would be greatly appreciated.

Heritage Fundraising Wall

This virtual brick wall celebrates GWI’s 105 anniversary on 11 July 2024 and will remain open for donations during the milestone year ending 11 July 2025.

GWI’s latest fundraising campaign is the 500+Challenge: The Power of Many Empowering Education. The campaign is focused on creating a collective impact by bringing together the power of 500 individual donors. Our goal is to inspire 500 individuals to donate $10, $20 per month or whatever amount they feel comfortable with. By pooling supporter resources, GWI is amplifying the impact of each individual contribution and make meaningful changes in girls’ education and women’s lifelong education and training.

Support the Girls Education for Brighter Futures program. For a sustainable GWI, we need your support to continue our mission of advocating for the safe access to education for girls and women along with lifelong learning and training. GWI operates special projects aimed to advance the status of women and girls. Your contributions to these projects makes a difference! Donations to the Girls Education for Brighter Futures can be made HERE.

The BRPID projects are micro-projects that empower girls and women through education and leadership development. BRPID grants are awarded to GWI National Federations and Associations. For more information about the BRPID projects click HERE. To make a donation to the BRPID projects click HERE.

GWI is working to increase the number of girls that go to school. In rural areas of Uganda, a huge number of girls are not enrolled in school or forced to drop out, in part due to a lack of women teachers. Our project will support 50 young women from rural Uganda to become qualified secondary school teachers and ambassadors for girls’ education. This will provide access to quality education for 2000 children per year and vital role models to improve girls’ enrollment. The Hegg Hoffet Programme assists graduate women (and in special cases tertiary women students) who have been displaced as a result of war, political upheaval or other serious emergencies.
